CHAPTER AWARDS

This award is given to Chapters in recognition of their commitment to community service. The Council of Residential Specialists of the National Association of REALTORS^® presents the "Chapter with a Heart" award to chapters that participate in a humanitarian service project.

The Sierra Nevada Chapter has earned the Chapter With A Heart Award again this year

Our Chapter of the heart project was our Annual CRS Fashion Show in December.  It was the 25th Annual Anniversary and was again acclaimed a beautiful show, giving us the opportunity to make a substantial donation to the “For Kids Foundation”.  This Foundation was created to provide financial aid and assistance to children with specific needs, such as medical, dental, mental health or educational services for which other resources are insufficient or non-existent. This program is continuing to be a safety net to fill the gap for children who do not qualify for help from other agencies. These children have a genuine, urgent need for help, and we are pleased to be able to contribute to their health and well-being.
