NAMED AS 2008 SMALL CHAPTER OF THE YEAR!

Our 2008 President, Victoria Williams, received the award for the Small Chapter of the Year at the National CRS Meetings in Orlando in November. This was a great honor, as there are only 1 Small, Medium and Large Chapter recognized each year for their outstanding achievements during the past year.

Those Chapters that are recognized as the "Chapter of the Year", receive the award due to their effort in advancing the mission of the Council of Residential Specialists in educating agents and the public to the fact that the agents who have earned the Certified Residential Specialist Designation are more knowledgeable because of the advanced education they have received, and their experience in handling Real Estate transactions.

This honor has never been achieved by the Nevada Chapter since it's inception. It was received due to the Chapter's responding to the needs of the Community when the levee broke in Fernley and people were flooded from their homes, collected food and donated money for the Food for Thought program in Carson City, made a donation to the project MANA in Truckee, and made a donation to Casa de Vida, a home for unwed teens in Reno.
